One Solar Panel at a Time…
Concentric Energy Solutions was founded in 2025 by Shaun Maruna in Southern Oregon. With over a decade of solar and operations leadership, Shaun brings together a team of experienced installers, electricians and roofers, to help drive the energy movement. Together, with local contractors, Concentric Energy Solutions is forming an alliance as a premier home energy and building partner.
Shaun's solar journey began during his undergrad at the University of New Mexico. His interest in solar technology led to volunteering with the New Mexico Solar Energy Association, an R&D internship with Zomeworks, and President of the Engineers without Borders UNM Student Chapter, where he helped design and build solar projects for indigenous communities in New Mexico.
After college, Shaun completed a solar certification program at Colorado Mountain College, eventually earning the prestigious NABCEP certification. This was accomplished while he gained extensive field and office experience in Colorado's Front Range, covering field operations, project management, and design in residential and commercial sectors.
Moving to Idaho and then Oregon, Shaun took on a leadership and executive role with a start-up solar company. This fast paced role further challenging himself and gave him the opportunity to teach and develop new leaders in the solar industry.
Throughout his career there was one key driving force through the journey, the power of mentorship from those above him. Concentric Energy Solutions is the culmination of that journey with the mission to build a company with the same high values passed down to him for the next generation
Professional Bio
Shaun Maruna is an experienced operations executive with more than a decade of expertise in residential and commercial solar projects. His previous experience and strong values has impacted hundreds of employees and customers across the country. He successfully managed nationwide field operations and his leadership ensured projects consistently met goals and performance targets.
Throughout his career, Shaun has combined technical expertise in solar design, engineering, and installation with strategic leadership in project management and operations. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of New Mexico, graduating cum laude, where he gained a strong interest in alternative energy. He holds multiple professional credentials, including NABCEP PV Installation Professional, Project Management Institute PMI-CP, Oregon Limited Renewable Technician, and Idaho Electrical Specialty License.
By leveraging his technical foundation, operational leadership, and results-driven approach, Shaun provides expert services that help clients deliver projects on time, on budget, and at scale. His expertise makes him a trusted partner for organizations and customers seeking to achieve long-term success in the solar and renewable energy industry.
